These terms apply to use of this website and, unless we agree otherwise in writing, to electrical work carried out by Fused Electrics Ltd (company no. 14946172).
Website information
Information on this website is general guidance and doesn't replace an inspection by a qualified electrician. Attendance is subject to availability. Any attendance time we give is an estimate.
Quotations and pricing
- Any call-out or attendance charge is explained before we book a visit.
- For repairs, the cost is explained and agreed with you before work goes ahead.
- Written quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Work found to be needed beyond the quoted scope will be discussed and agreed with you first.
- Where applicable, parking and Congestion Charge costs may be added. We'll tell you in advance.
Access and authorisation
You must have authority to instruct work at the property. Tenants should obtain the landlord's or managing agent's authorisation for anything beyond making a dangerous situation safe.
Payment
Unless agreed otherwise, payment is due on completion. Certificates may be issued once payment has been received.
Workmanship
Work is carried out to BS 7671 and tested and certified where required. Notifiable work is notified under Part P through NAPIT.
Liability
We hold public liability insurance. We're not responsible for pre-existing faults or defects in parts of an installation we haven't worked on, but we'll tell you about any dangerous issues we notice.
Your rights
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations where applicable.
