Designed properly, not just added on
Every new circuit or extension of an existing circuit has to be designed: correct cable size for the load and length, suitable protection, and checks that the existing earthing, bonding and consumer unit can support it. We check before we install, so your new circuit is safe and your existing ones aren't compromised.
Certification and building regulations
All installation work is tested to BS 7671. You'll receive a Minor Works Certificate or Electrical Installation Certificate as appropriate. Notifiable work, such as new circuits or work in some special locations, is notified under Part P through NAPIT.
Frequently asked questions
Can you add sockets without chasing walls?
Sometimes. Depending on the wall construction and route, we may be able to fish cables through cavities or use neat surface trunking. We'll explain the options.
Can my consumer unit take a new circuit?
We'll check. If there's no spare way or suitable protection, we'll quote for a solution, which might include a consumer unit upgrade.
Do you install EV chargers?
Please call to discuss your requirements.
